BACKGROUND OF DEMAND

Traditional pure hardware solutions require multiple servers and storage devices, which not only incur high costs but also pose risks such as standalone operation of application systems and lack of data backup. Even with server virtualization solutions, there is still a need for independent storage devices (a single storage device still poses a single point of failure risk), storage switches, network security devices, etc., resulting in high costs. The traditional construction plan involves multiple types and quantities of equipment, resulting in a complex and slow process for users, including selection evaluation, bidding and procurement, joint debugging and deployment, and implementation switching. The average construction period exceeds 60 days. Users not only need to manage server virtualization platform software, but also need to maintain a large number of basic devices such as network devices, security devices, storage devices, etc. When computing performance is insufficient, it is usually necessary to replace new servers, storage devices, security devices, and network devices, which is not only complex but also brings significant cost pressure.

SOLUTION

Hyper converged software is based on software capabilities such as distributed storage, computing virtualization, network virtualization, and secure virtualization. By deploying general-purpose servers and layer 2 and 3 switches, cloud infrastructure can be built through software defined methods. The hyper converged software consists of computation virtualization (aSV), storage virtualization (aSAN), network virtualization (aNET), and security virtualization (aSEC). It is built on the hyper converged platform as a cloud management platform to support the management and operation of multiple HCI clusters, providing advanced operation and maintenance functions such as reliable center, security center, monitoring center, and third-party resource management. It has the characteristics of stability, reliability, excellent performance, security, effectiveness, and intelligent convenience. At the same time, the X86 and ARM underlying architectures that are native to hyper converged software further provide the ability to continuously evolve towards independent innovation, and can provide advanced, software defined infrastructure solutions for various systems, platforms, and data center construction in digital transformation.

Storage virtualization aSAN

ASAN is a self-developed distributed storage system that utilizes distributed technology to "pool" local hard drives in general X86 servers within a cluster storage volume, achieving unified integration, management, and scheduling of server storage resources. Ultimately, it provides an iSCSI/private protocol storage interface to the upper layer, allowing virtual machines to freely allocate and use storage space in the resource pool according to their own storage needs. The aSAN distributed storage system has four characteristics of high performance, high reliability, easy scalability, and easy operation and maintenance through multiple technologies.

Security virtualization aSEC

Security virtualization (aSEC) enables cloud platform host protection and network protection by building security capabilities into the hyper converged underlying layer. The built-in protection capability can perform platform wide asset identification, guided threat handling, network threat protection, and the security capability can flexibly scale with the changes of cloud assets. At the same time, it is linked with hyper fusion capability for data protection, ensuring the security, reliability, and agility of user business. In addition, aSEC also integrates the rich security components that have been deeply rooted in the security industry for many years, and can provide cloud platform security protection solutions that meet the requirements of cybersecurity compliance.

Server virtualization aSV

ASV is a computing virtualization platform with independent intellectual property rights and is also a core component of the entire hyper converged architecture. By pooling standard X86 or Xinchuang hardware resources and managing virtual resources, virtualization technology presents a standardized and unified business resource pool to end-users, providing high-performance, high security, and high reliability computing services for businesses.

Network virtualization aNET

Network virtualization (aNET) is based on the design concept of Software Defined Networking (SDN), which uses Overlay to build the second layer and achieve isolation between business systems, providing a virtual network environment for traditional and new applications, and achieving unified orchestration of network resources. ANet provides complete logical network and security scalability capabilities, including virtual switches, routing, firewalls, load, monitoring, and troubleshooting functions, enhancing the agility, security, and scalability of data centers.
